We are having an urgent position with our client Royal Bank of Scotland (www.rbs.com) for Gurgaon location.

Position - Software Engineer /Senior Software Engineer (Production Support/Technical Support) and (Development)

Experience - 3+ Years

Skills -

Essential Experience: (Must have skills)

1- 3+ years of experience in terms of providing technical/Production support Knowledge of relational databases with expertise on SQL Server 2000 /2003 /2005/ 2008.
2- Able to query complex databases for fault finding, reporting, data extracts and problem resolution purposes. Creation of stored procedures for reporting requests and support tasks.
3- Experience in supporting mission & time critical applications Proven analysis skills and the ability to effectively liaise with other teams internally and externally to Client Technology .
4- Good knowledge of the various support processes Self sufficiency in terms of making decisions during crisis situations.

Supplementary Experience: (Useful additional skills)—Not Mandatory

Familiarity with UNIX, XML etc Experience of supporting applications with web front ends, C#.NET, ASP.NET. Exposure to Reporting Services Familiarity with CRM systems Exposure to Change management procedures within a large organization. Exposure to middle office trading environments Experience in Sybase and Oracle
