Job Description   The developer on a software server project effort closely tied with Dell’s Image Management services for customers. This individual will have experience and knowledge of hardware associated with setting up this type of environment, server engineering and strong software development skills. Job Description   GENERAL SUMMARY Global Services Software Development (GSSD) is looking for a QA/Tester on a software server project effort closely tied with Dell’s Image Management services for customers. This individual will have experience and knowledge of testing software, configurations and some hardware such as laptops, desktops, and servers. The candidate needs to also have strong communication skills (verbal and written).   Other Details: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines or equivalent work experience required MCSD/MCSE and/or other certifications a plus INTERACTIONS Frequently interacts with peers, project/program managers, internal & external customers      Candidate Profile Description UG Qualification: BE/B.Tech/MCA   Personal Profile: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Test - specific 5+ years experience in software testing required The engineer will be responsible primarily for designing and developing Test strategies and Test scenarios around web-based application portals running .NET. Other responsibilities include executing test plans, debugging / diagnosing problems / bugs, and writing test cases.  Must be proficient in testing and complimentary methods such as analysis, documentation, flow-charting, and testing processes.
